Cranberry Orange Relish
Try this for a Christmas or Thanksgiving meal and you will never serve that canned glop again! Even people who don't like cranberry sauce will enjoy this fresh variation. |

Ingredients: 2 navel oranges |
Directions: Zest oranges to yield 2 tsp. zest. Peel and separate into sections. Discard pith and seeds. Starting with ½ cup sugar; place all ingredients in blender and pulse until mixed. Taste and add more sugar if desired. I like it with just the ½ cup of sugar, especially when served with all the rich foods of Thanksgiving. But some people prefer the sweeter version. Cover and chill at least 2 hours and up to 3 days. |
