A Lifetime of Recipes: Fabulous Fresh Fruit
Grapefruit-Avocado Salad
Try citrus instead of tomatoes for a winter-time salad. Tomatoes are a summer fruit, and while winter tomatoes add color to a salad, they sure don't add much flavor. Oranges, tangerines, and clementines just need to be sectioned. Grapefruit segments should be separated from the pith and membranes. |
